Venue

The conference will take place at the main building of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University:

The building is located in the historical centre of Prague, within short walking distance of Old Town Square and many other cultural and historical landmarks. It is easily accessible by public transport—Staroměstská metro, tram, and bus stops are all located directly next to the venue.

At the venue

Conference organisers will be available at the registration and information desk at the building entrance each day from 8:00 AM to assist with questions or directions.

Room 111, located on the first floor, will be available throughout the conference for participants who wish to work or take a break between sessions. Each conference room is equipped with a PC, projector, and sound system.

Travelling to Prague

By plane

Most international visitors arrive via Václav Havel Airport Prague. The airport is located approximately 30 minutes from the city centre and is well connected by both public transport and taxi services.

  • Public transport: The most efficient route is bus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín, where you can transfer to metro line A, which takes you directly to the city centre.

  • From other airports: Direct bus connections from nearby international airports (e.g. Vienna, Berlin, Budapest) are available via RegioJet: https://regiojet.com/services/airport-transfers

By train

Prague is accessible by direct train connections from many European cities, including Vienna, Berlin, Bratislava, Warsaw, Budapest, Kyiv, and, starting May 2026, Copenhagen. Major train operators include:

By coach

Coach services provide a convenient way to reach Prague from most European capitals. Major operators include:

Coaches usually arrive at Florenc Bus Station, which is connected to metro lines B and C and located about 15 minutes by metro from the venue.

By car

Prague is accessible by several highways and can be reached easily by car from surrounding countries. Please note that a motorway vignette (electronic sticker) is required to use Czech motorways.
